YMCA swimming lessons help your child develop healthy habits and safe water practices they’ll carry with them for life. We offer a range of learn to swim and squad programs at the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre for every age and ability.

*Your child can swim 48 weeks of the year with no hassles of re-enrolment
*One parent and one child are entitled to free pool access outside of lesson times
*Your child will continually be assessed to ensure they will move up levels when they are ready
*Automatic 4 week suspension over Christmas, but as a Direct Debit member you and your child can still swim for FREE
Swim School Office Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 12:00pm & 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am to 11:30am & 1:00pm to 4:00pm

My son is enrolled with Unsw umma swim school and is very happy! They run classes every day and if you sign up for classes you can come in free of charge any time during the week for your child to practice swimming!

Hi I was just wondering how much it is to enroll my nearly 3 & 5 yr old into swimming?. Also is your pool a heated pool.? Thanks so much. Monica

My kids (5 & 8yrs) have been doing lessons here all year and both love it. The instructors are all friendly and professional and there's a wonderful young manager who roves around making sure all is well. Also a really good poolside cafe with some healthy options for the kids. We often grab morning tea after swimming and hang out in the gardens outside. And even though it's always busy, we rarely have any trouble parking, even on Saturday. You can park wherever you like in the Uni on weekends. We love it!
