WILD FLIGHT

Fun is flying into WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo with the all-new WILD Flight – a self-propelled ride where kids and parents alike will experience flight through the attraction’s aviary.

Riders can see kangaroos from the sky, glide past Princess Parrots and other feathered friends and even take a daring journey above Rex, the zoo’s huge 5 metre crocodile. As a part of this treetop experience, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo also welcomes a family of endangered Grey-headed Flying Foxes which can be seen from three different vantage points made accessible by a brand-new treetops observation tower.

Ellaslist Opinion: WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is an excellent place to introduce children to Australian wildlife and fauna as it houses over 1,000 native animals, insects and reptiles, yet is set in a very contained space and is so easily accessed from the city. Some young children (and a few mums!) may be little unnerved by the giant croc and creepy cassowary but the wallabies are super cute. This is one of our favourite rainy day activities and it is very easy to spend a couple of very pleasant hours here! There’s plenty of room for active kids to race around too. Entry prices are steep but there are often internet deals for cheap tickets and Annual Passes and Combination Tickets also bring the cost down significantly.
