Sydney Olympic Park offers loads of outdoor fun for active kids and the great parks are a great place to start your family adventure.

Wentworth Common has bike tracks and pathways, barbeques and plenty of space to run but best of all it features an adventure playground with a flying fox, enormous sandpit and more.

Bicentennial Park boasts two playgrounds and offers visitors recreation, nature-based tours and environmental education. You can also visit the wetlands and woodlands of Blaxland Riverside Park with plenty of green open spaces for games, all-weather walking and bike-riding.

There are plenty of other ideas for a great day out with the kids you can hire a bike, have a swim at the Aquatic Centre, try your luck at mini golf and skate, scooter or be a BMX bandit at Monster Skatepark.

Over the school holidays, Kids in the Park is massive fun with over 50 free and low-cost activities for kids on offer. Check website for details of upcoming programs.

Sydney Olympic Park offers a choice of cafes, fast food, bars and restaurants all within strolling distance of the major venues and parkland and the parks have barbeques. There are plenty of baby change facilities and all areas are very pram friendly.
