Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden

Explore the bush, go bug catching, get wet, build a shelter, catch a tadpole, find a nest… these are just some of the amazing experiences you can have at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden.

Featuring bushland, gullies, ponds and waterfalls, the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney’s best kept secrets! Situated in St Ives, the 123 hectares of urban bushland is a great spot for bush walking, picnicking and special events.

Within the Wildflower Garden, visitors can choose from a range of public access walking tracks, including the accessible Senses Track or the more challenging Mueller Track.

The Garden features heath land, tall forest, sandstone outcrops, ponds, gullies and waterfalls. There are several picnic areas with barbecues, some of which are available for hire. There is plenty of onsite parking, toilet facilities and a children’s playground.

The Wildflower Garden also has a great range of environmental education programs to choose from, with hands-on activities designed to create a sense of connectedness to nature, fostering a life-long love and appreciation for the bush.

Plus, they host Bush Birthday Parties, Bush Kids school holiday programs, and Early Learning & Primary School Excursions. There’s also plenty of activities on offer for adults and community groups.
