Great for kids and adults alike. Their activities are catered to varying levels of fitness and experience. There's something for the whole family to enjoy.

The Treetop Walk
Take a walk through the treetops. This is a 1.5km walk through beautiful warm temperate rainforest with 500 metres of steel walkway nestled in the treetop canopy some 20-30 metres above the ground.

The walkway culminates in Knights Tower, a spiral tower that rises to a breathtaking 45 metres above the forest floor. Then there’s the thrills and challenges of two confronting swaying springboard cantilevers suspended 25 metres above the forest floor which take guests to the edge of the escarpment.

The Zipline Tour
Officially the highest zipline tour in Australia, zoom in and experience the Illawarra Fly Zipline Tour as you fly on a series of cable spans and navigate suspension bridges up to 35 metres above the forest floor!  Their experienced guides control all departures and arrivals whilst providing you with an insight into the forest’s history and its features with truly unparalleled views.  The zipline tour includes access to the Treetop Walk so you can truly immerse yourself in the natural environment.

Participants will soar through the trees and learn about our growing and vibrant forest whilst capturing unparalleled views of everything from the forest floor, into the canopy and a glimpse out to the Pacific Ocean.

The whole experience can take up to 2.5 hours as it includes the self-guided Treetop Walk before or after your Zipline Tour.

Rainforest Ranger Trail
Perfect for the budding junior rangers, kids can experience the lush outdoors like never before on the all-new Rainforest Ranger interactive trail. Journey deep into the Southern Highlands and discover the secrets of the rainforest and its animal residents. Complete with a souvenir Rainforest Ranger booklet and lanyard (subject to availability), the activity follows an exciting trail of questions that will have kids learning about the region’s diverse flora and fauna, as well as cool facts about Illawarra Fly’s treetop walk structure.

Getting There
Illawarra Fly is in the Southern Highlands, just outside the small village of Robertson. It’s roughly an hour and a half drive from Sydney either along the coast via Wollongong or straight down the Hume Highway.
