Calling all family detectives! If you love doing challenging things as a family, solving mysteries and consider yourself a ‘super sleuth’, then Escape Hunt in the heart of Sydney city is just the experience you’re after!

The Escape Hunt Experience Sydney is a Live Group Escape Game bringing 100 year old mysteries from Sydney’s historical The Rocks to life with multiple game rooms that offer different escape experiences.

How it works:
Your experience starts in one of the themed rooms. Your objective is to work as a group to escape the room in 60 minutes! You’ll be working through games, challenges, puzzles and clues that will need your combined skills & quick thinking as a team to solve.

This unique experience is great for the whole family to get involved. The game can be played with 2 – 5 people. Kids aged 10 years+ will get the most out of this experience as they are will be able to join in and participate in the solving the challenges, but kids 7 plus will also get a kick out of the excitement as parents battle to solve the clues in time. There are multiple rooms to book so you can even go head to head with another family to see who can escape first!

Each experience is a minimum of 90 minutes (15 minute briefing, 60 minute game and time after the game for a detective photo and refreshments).  After the game, players can dress in Sherlock Holmes style detective outfits and get a group photo taken by the Game Master. The Escape Hunt experience is recommended for 7 years and up and if under 16 must accompanied by an adult. It is also great for Tween and Teen Birthday Parties.

Getting There: Escape Hunt is located on Level 4, 393 George Street, Sydney (opposite the Dymocks building). Opening times: 10am to 8.30pm, 7 days a week.
Cost: Games range in price from $36pp for 5 people to $42pp for 2 people.
