Calmsley Hill City Farm

Located in Abbotsbury, 40 minutes out of Sydney, the farm is a place where the whole family can get up close to a range of native and farmyard animals – you can do everything from milk a cow to feed a kangaroo!  There is even sheep shearing, tractor rides and a stock whip show to keep you and the littlies entertained.

The farm also offers unique and really low-cost kids birthday party packages and overnight camping and farm stay options for your family – or get a group of friends together and make a night of it! Includes barbeque dinner and breakfast - collect your own chook eggs!

Located on over 400 acres, there is oodles of space for kids to run free in the beautiful grounds. This is a rare and wonderful opportunity for children to get a taste of life on a farm without having to travel for hours to get there.

Ellaslist opinion: A 40-minute car drive takes you a million miles away from Sydney city’s hustle and bustle. This both an educational and really fun family outing that caters to toddlers, preschoolers, older children and grown-ups alike.  It’s a great lesson for the kids to discover that eggs and milk don’t just come from the supermarket shelves and there are loads of interesting shows and demonstrations all day long.

Facilities: Calmsley Hill City Farm is really geared toward families so it is very pram friendly and baby change facilities are available. Free electric BBQs are available so bring your own picnic lunch and enjoy the chance to relax in the excellent surrounds. There is also a kiosk available for take away food.
