Royal North Shore Hospital: Prenatal & Early Parenting Education & Fitness

Childbirth & Early Parenting Education at the Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is a pre-natal education unit within the Lower North Shore Health Promotion Unit. We conduct courses and workshops to assist in the preparation for birth, early parenting and exercise programs, as well as facility tours for expectant parents – primarily for those attending RNSH for the birth of their baby.

Our course and workshop leaders are qualified midwives, physiotherapists or exercise leaders who are highly skilled adult educators. They undergo extensive training and assessment with the health service.

Birthing Workshop in Cantonese and Mandarin – one day/weekend $125pp
Parenting Workshop in Cantonese and Mandarin – one day/weekend $120pp
Breastfeeding classes in Cantonese, Mandarin and Korean – daytime – no charge

Tour of Maternity & Birth Units – Sundays $8pp
