While we may not fit the Northern hemisphere’s overrated white Christmas setting, our amazing summer blue skies frames the red Santa costume beautifully. From Sydney’s picture perfect Harbour to a luxurious Swarovski garden, we have no doubt that these are the best spots for Santa photos!

Parramatta Park

Get a Santa photo with a twist- outdoors, and with pets! Azuelo Designs are offering a gorgeous outdoor photography session with Santa with a touch of vintage styling. You’ll find the photographer friendly and patient and you won’t have to wait in any long shopping centre queues. Packages are $70 and include some great prints you’ll have forever.

Santa at a Christmas Lights Spectacular, Hunter Valley

It’s a fairy tale land in display with over 2 million Christmas lights! Where else would be a more spectacular spot to take Santa photos than this magical gardens this Christmas? Head on to the Hunter Valley Gardens and have your Santa photos taken by a commissioned photographer at Santa’s Cave, or get the kids to simply sit on Santa’s knee to make their Christmas wish list.

Go under the twinkling lights of Santa’s new enchanted garden where kids can discover flowers, feature birds and characters that will surprise and enchant. What’s also brilliant is QVB’s SMS queue system where you can shop to your heart’s content until you’re notified. Santaland, Myer Stores Across Sydney

Sometimes fancy locations can’t trump easy to travel places. In almost every central city store in Australia, Santa is waiting for you and the family- and he’s brought a slice of the North Pole with him! Mrs Claus will also be giving a very special story time to well-behaved children. Book online to beat the queues. If you want a professional photographer you can pay $27.50 for two prints, otherwise you’re allowed to use your phone and snap a few pics.
