Jatra Jatra: Tram Art

Be inspired by the artist’s amazing Tramjatra design to create your own bold and colourful patterns, as part of a collaborative artwork.
What makes you happy? What’s important to you? And how would you represent your journey in life so far?

Learn about the symbols used in Bushra’s Tramjatra design and how she put it all together to then create images and motifs that express your own story.

Kids will be making one large artwork on the ArtPlay wall and each person will have a section to complete.

First, play around with different ideas through sketching; then use mixed media such as paint, collage, pencil and stickers to test out techniques and bring your work to life.

Then place all the sections on the wall, to see the artwork come together as one!

You will be emailed an image of the final artwork to share with family and friends.
