1. Einsteinz Music


Einsteinz Music has been running age-appropriate hands-on music classes since 1997 in Sydney’s Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and Neutral Bay. They teach the children the fundamentals of music in classes grouped into babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. In addition to music appreciation, Einsteinz Music also incorporate gross motor and fine motor skills, counting, colours, listening skills and socialization concepts like listening and sharing. Classes are all taught by professional musicians and all music is played live. Bluebell Music operates in Bondi Junction, Rose Bay and Miranda, offering fun, engaging and educational classes for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. Energetic teaches are sure to encourage a love of music in your child, through listening, singing, moving and improvisation in a relaxed and informal class setting. 3. Directions In Music


Directions in Music is one of the leading music schools in the Eastern Suburbs, with studios in the heart of Randwick Junction and Kensington. 4. Ladybug Music


Ladybug Music offer fantastic music classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in Neutral Bay, Mosman, Curl Curl and Forestville. Children will be encouraged to participate and get silly in the warm, inclusive environments offered by theses classes where the music is funky, soulful and eclectic. Your child will be introduced to pitch, tempo, melody and rhythm through singing, instruments, dance and more. Their parent-and-me classes are a favourite of ours, where little ones can express themselves using body and voice.

5. Ukubebe


Ukubebe offers a range of quality programs for 0-12 year olds including early childhood music, ukulele, drumming fun and yoga-dance. Ukubebe’s classes are fun and fabulous and very engaging for all participants. They just love teaching music; their classes are non-competitive, inclusive, and promote wholistic learning. African drumming and percussion classes take place on Tuesday afternoons with a family class on the first Saturday of the month, dance-yoga classes for mums + bubs and primary school aged children on Wednesday afternoons and a Ukulele group class on Tuesday arvos. They run early childhood music and movement classes each weekday morning at their Randwick studio, with new classes starting on Thursday mornings (only, in term 1) at the new venue in Clovelly.

6. Applause Music Theatre Academy


Applause Musical Theatre Academy specialises in weekly classes for children in Kindy to Year 11, where kids will be given an avenue to express themselves and build confidence across many areas- not just performing! This is where triple threats are born; kids will learn to sing, dance and act with scenes and songs from popular musicals. With two qualified industry-experienced musicians per class and live piano accompaniment, this is the real deal! Children will gear up for the end of year soiree, where all performers will experience their time in the spotlight and get at least one singing and acting solo. Give your little one a heads up in music, math & life and come join in some fun, fuss free music lessons at KB School of Music. In their basics program, KB takes little ones from the age of 3 years, as well as catering for leisure learners and the more serious exam candidates. They offer tuition in piano, guitar and singing. You can even join a fun community choir on a Saturday afternoon! We just adore their music appreciation workshops with amazing career musicians from the Opera & Ballet Orchestra. KB aims to inspire students and open up a wonderful world of music for them. But that’s not all! The new specialized Elite program will help take music learning to a ‘whole notha level’.
