Sydney has some egg-cellent events on offer this Easter, and ellaslist brings you the top egg hunts, easter shows, parades, and the best places to eat over the long weekend, 30 March - 2 April 2018, with the whole family.

The Great Centennial Park Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny and Bilby are returning to Centennial Parklands this Easter! Follow a trail map around the park to complete challenges on this super fun quest, and be rewarded with chocolate! It takes about 30-45 minutes to complete this self-led expedition, and it was a sell-out last year - so make sure you book tickets! The emphasis of this event is getting children outside and active whilst engaging in good old-fashioned fun. Activities are egg or bunny related, from an egg and spoon race, egg hunt, and so on. There will be a family photo opportunity at the end with the Easter Bunny and Easter Bilby so bring your camera!

When: Saturday 31 March & Sunday 1 April 2018; Start times are between 9am and 2.15pm

Dodo Sydney Family Show

Celebrate Easter at Sydney’s largest free-entry family show! The Dodo Stage is packed with performers and demonstrations throughout the show. Some of Australia’s best performers will make the big top come alive during the Circus Avalon show, with trapeze, silks, jugglers, contortionists, acrobats AND you can meet some of them after each show. Don’t forget to check out the showbags – so many to choose from and so many delicious treats to indulge in. And it’s not a family show without the adorable baby farmyard animals. There is definitely something for everyone at the 2018 Dodo Sydney Family Show!

Egg-cellent Easter Trail - Explore Elizabeth Farm And Vaucluse House 

Explore Sydney Living Museums Elizabeth Farm and Vaucluse House on an Easter-inspired kids trail. The Great Garden Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny is coming to the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney! With the help of their very own trail map, each child (recommended for ages 3-8) will hunt for chocolate eggs and furry Easter friends. A great way to get the kids outside while engaging in the old-school fun of the egg-and-spoon race and egg hunt. After the games, make sure to get a family snap with the Easter Bunny!

The Great Australian Botanic Gardens Egg Hunt

Hop here this Easter long weekend - bunny ears on and baskets in hand - for the highly anticipated return of The Great ABG Egg Hunt! The popular family Easter Adventure will see children follow Trail Maps and complete fun challenges as they hunt for a furry Bunny friend in the beautiful natural setting of Australia’s largest botanic garden! Darrell Lea, Australia’s favourite confectionary company is back for a second year and will be supplying their delicious chocolate eggs for the occasion. The magnificent Sydney Royal Easter Show is back for another year this April, set to thrill, delight and excite Sydney kids and families once again! A Little Drive From Sydney...

Jamberoo Action Park GIANT Easter Egg Hunt
