I can’t think of a better way to spend a Summer day than lounging by an elegant hotel pool, icy cold cocktail in hand. Don’t be fooled- this luxurious experience isn’t isolated to expensive holidays and weekend getaways. Get access to a gorgeous Sydney hotel this Summer and make use of their delightful amenities, minus the pricey room bookings.

1. Pool Club, ivy

Cocktails, private cabanas, delicious Italian food and nothing but open blue sky above you. Get free access to this stylish pool in one of Sydney’s most iconic party spots from Monday-Friday. On Saturdays, the pool becomes the focal point of Pacha Sydney and on Sundays, the highlight of Marco Polo. Oversized sunglasses are a must.

2. Shangri-La, Sydney CBD

You can get into the Health Club for $25, which includes a gym, sundeck, indoor swimming pool, lunch and beverage menu, and a jacuzzi. Forget a touch of luxury- the Shangri-La offers a total lathering of luxury.

3. Sheraton on the Park, Sydney CBD

Become a member of the On The Park Rejuvenation Day Spa and enjoy a rooftop pool and jacuzzi overlooking Hyde Park and the city, as well as a gym, sauna, steam room and terrace with plenty of deck chairs to lounge on. Off-peak (9am-5pm) membership for 1 month costs $90 per person, not too bad for a totally luxe bit of ‘me’ time.

4. Radisson Blu, Sydney CBD

We LOVE the Radisson Blu- their High Tea for kids is one of the best in Sydney with mini sandwiches, fairy bread, mocktails and more. For a modest $15, you can use the pool without a room booking.

5. The Langham, Millers Point

Th Langham is simply on another level. Their world class day spa spells a day of pampering unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. If you book in for a treatment, (an investment if you ask us), you can use their indoor heated pool for free. The pool sure is a sight for sore eyes: beach murals, stone columns, turquoise water, poolside lounges and a ceiling painted to resemble the night sky. Heaven!
