Dad is Now Single Father to Newborn Triplets after Wife❜s Tragic Death

In heartbreaking news, what was supposed to be an incredibly joyful time has turned to tragedy for Joey Rott of Kansas, whose wife has recently died after the birth of triplets.

After giving birth on 29 January, Casi Rott, described as “perfect” by her husband, passed away from a blood clot, just 10 days later.

After spending some time in hospital, the triplets are now home and Joey faces the enormous challenge of being a single dad to five kids. The Rott children, Chloe (6), Tenley (2), together with newborn triplets Asher, Levi and Piper are said to be missing Casi everyday, with Joey just wanting his “best friend” back.

“My oldest, Chloe, has been asking about her mom," Joey tells US Weekly. "She talks about her quite a bit and about how she is in heaven,” says the IT worker. “When the triplets are older, I will tell them how much their mom loved them. I’ll tell them how crafty she was and how hands on. She was a people person.”

With his wife, who worked at the local primary school, gone, Joey is said to be finding comfort in God, prayer and his tightly knit community, some of whom have set up a GoFundMe page. This memorial fund for Casi will help with medical and daily expenses for the Rott family.

A facebook page has been set up in memory of Casi and will allow the public to follow the development of the triplets.
