Banjo’s Skate Park Is Open For Business

The Central Coast has a cool new skate park, built as a tribute to a local skater who tragically died in a skateboarding accident.
The park, at Terrigal Lagoon Reserve, is named after Banjo Pilon, who tragically died in a skateboarding accident in August 2015 at the age of 10. Banjo loved skateboarding with his big brother Fletcher.

The vibrant play space caters for a range of ages and abilities and includes new play equipment, nature play area, seating, BBQ facilities, shade shelters, picnic tables, a water refill station, and safety fencing.
The official opening will be held at Banjo’s Skate Park on August 5 from 11am to 3pm.
In the lead up to the opening, Banjo’s Skate Park merchandise is being sold with T-shirts for $30 and beanies and hats for $20. Visit banjos-skatepark.myshopify.com
