Waterslides combine the best of the playground with the best of Summer fun! Instead of a boring old pool, why not take your kiddies to one of these thrill-seeking super slides where they can have fun AND cool down this Summer? 
Here are our top picks for Sydney waterslides, if you dare:

1. Wet'n'Wild

Wet'n'Wild is the place to be this Summer for Sydney families, boasting a heap of family-friendly events on their program including awesome BMX displays and a poolside cinema. In terms of waterslide fun, they don't skimp on the thrills.
Wet'n'Wild has a whole heap of waterslides including 10 kid-friendly ones at Nickelodeon Beach suitable for little ones under 140cm, plus heaps of ones for bigger kids and families including the 360Rush that you have to climb up 6-storeys to get to, the fully enclosed Aqua Tube, the Bombora that you can slide up, down and around in with other members of your family and the H2GO Racers where you challenge 7 other sliders to a race!

2. Splasher's Water Playground

Inside the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, this epic water playland is big on the splashes and thrills. As well as tipping buckets, a current pool, water fountains, and climbing structures, there are 3 water slides for young ones and a much bigger, enclosed one with a height requirement of 140cm. 3. Waterworld at Entertainment Quarter

What's cooler than a waterslide? An inflatable waterslide, of course! At Waterworld Central you can splash around in giant inflatable pools, slide down the giant twin slides of the Dragon Pool or bounce around under the palm trees the Shark World. If you’re looking to relax you can have a good time in the Wading Pool. For those that dare to take the Dino Challenge, plummet down the long drop of the Colossal Dino Slide! 4. Aquatopia Water Park at Prairiewood

Aquatopia is back this Summer for a second season! Starting at just $15 per person for Fairfield local residents, this water park boasts 10-metre tall giant slides, an adventure aqua tower with 79 unique elements, cabanas for hire, a toddler's pool and a Stingray wave rider. 

5. Jamberoo Action Park

Jamberoo Action Park is just over an hour’s drive south of Sydney. It boasts heaps of water rides including at Billabong Beach, Outback Bay, and Mushroom Pool dedicated to your little swimmer! There are several mini-water slides for every kid's thrill-seeking needs and an awesome aquatic cubby house.

6. Manly Surf N Slide

A.k.a the old Manly Waterworks, splash into Summer with this long-time Sydney favourite. Sliders at least 110cm tall will enjoy flying feet-first down all sorts of waterslides, followed by a bite to eat at the gourmet cafe or a play at the awesome playground.
